Default uprated cv joints

guys is there anywhere that does uprated cv joints? (for ITR JDM driveshafts)

was at the strip yesterday and snapped the outer cv joint, drivers side. (did the passengers side a few months back aswell)

Typically in the U.S. we just change the entire axle to Gator or The Driveshaft Shop. those are the places to get axles that can withstand the punishment that you're throwing at it. Otherwise, for stock axles, we use stock CV joints and boots.

thanks mate

do the DSS axles come with uprated cv joints? i have seen pics and the outer looks like it has been 'beefed up' but the inners 'look' like oem...? my outer one has snapped but the left side inner cv joint has also colapsed for the second time.. so if the DSS inner cv is OEM whats to stop it happening again and again, thats what im thinking..

yes, everything is made of an upgraded material, including the joints themselves. Now. It won't prevent you from EVER breaking axles or CV joints again, but it will significantly lessen the possibility. When you race like that, deal with the fact that at times, you will break things. Your tyre pressures at the track, driving habits, all play a factor

The old saying goes in the U.S... If you're not breaking things, you're not going fast enough!!
