Default Upgrading Valvetrain

What should I be considering as upgrades to my valvetrain for a Turboed LS motor? Sure there's steel valves, dual springs, and titanium retainers but is that as far as it goes? What about valve sizes? What happens when you use larger valves? What head work needs to be done to accomidate larger then stock valves? What about differing valve sizes for intake and exhaust?
