Upgraded to Skunk2 Pro1, now with issues!
Well, I decided to upgrade my GSR cams for Skunk2 pro1's in my 500whp B-series. Put them in last night, tightened everything down and tried to roll over the cams with the cam bolt and they wouldnt budge.
The GSR cams roll over fine, no issues, so its nothing mechanical on the head side of things.
Anyone have similar issues with these cams being too large for the journals? Im thinking I might to line bore my head.
Im going to take it to a machine shop to have it checked, I checked with my Vernier Caliper, but its probably not the most accurate measurement.
I put in a trouble ticket on Skunk2's website, but I figured I would ask here because It usually resolves any issues I have.

What valve springs and retainers are you using? You could try using plastiguage to get an idea on the clearances before you go pulling the head. You could also try removing the rocker arms and installing the cams and see if they bind. If they spin freely then the journals are not your problem.

i don't think you have a problem. if one of the lobes is ramping up it would be difficult to turn with the cam sprocket bolt. put the belt on and turn the crank pulley and see what happens.

got them in and rotating, took a socket on each cam bolt and one on the crank pulley bolt to get it to move, once it did, It could be rolled over by just the crank pulley..
All is good
thanks for the help guys
