Upgraded Bottom End
Quick question, would this be an upgrade worth making? I am at the 300whp level now. My question is would this kit be little more than just making what I have more reliable or could I put this in and squeeze say another 100whp out of my motor? Common school of thought is stock LS motor is good for 300whp which I have now, could this be installed and I could go up to 400whp with same level of reliability? Just curious to hear thoughts from people who know more than me about this kind of thing. No specific goals, I just ran across this and it got me thinking.

Scat Rods are made by Probe
their H Beams arent too shabby. But then again, you can get eagles for 289.
Probe makes pistons also for the Bseries.
I would be cautious as whoever posted that ebay listing didnt post up the CC of the piston and other much needed details.
you could be getting a mystery grab bag.
I didnt know Nippon was making pistons again. Its been years since Ive heard the name. Anyone can print a decal and slap it on a white box.
IDK if I would trust pistons coming from china in a plain white box.

If you searched you might have found them in time. But you want to come on here and bitch and complain. I built my engine with a **** ton of searching and finding deals. I suggest you do the same.
Just to help you out, heres the part number to narrow your search results: crs5394a3d

Im not even going to point out the irony here on the "jackassery" as your too lazy to search and find a better deal and come on here and bitch and complain. I see you finally used your computer for something useful.
IDK, but 312 is still pretty cheap!
Another woman with a paper ******* on HT!

Wiesco Pistons and Eagle Rod combo for $754.. Only $200 more than OP's Nippon Piston and Scat rods..
Or $779 with Wiesco Pistons and Manley Rods
or $869 for CP Pistons and Eagle Rods
Either way for $200 bucks difference it's an easy choice in my book. Oh and any time I called Real Street for an order over the phone I also got like 5 to 10% off of the internet price.
