Updated Pics of my li'l Sleeper...
Well, here it is in all it's glory. I drove it to work today. Running nicely up to 5k RPM, but then I have it running so fat<too much fuel> it boggs, and reminds me I'm still breaking it in
Keeping it down to 5k rpm and 7-8 pounds of boost for now, I spent the first 500 miles on no boost 3500-4000 rpm limit.
Yeah, I know the car desperately needs a paintjob, but that's in the works! Enjoy!
Sorry about the biggish pics, but i think they're deserved.

They're to be swapped for JDM's soon... I sold my stockers is the ONLY reason they exist.

Air/Wateer I/c is MUCH more expensive than a conventional FMIC, but it's NICE and SLEEPER and I love having the 7PSI in my car in FIRST gear by 3500RPM
No cam gears to make it spool faster either!
Anyway, I probably have about $700 in the intercooler setup.
$425 to spearco for the actualy piece
$100 for the exchanger in the front <LARGE 4 pass fluidyne unit>
$100 for the Bilge pump <loud, but switchable from inside during normal, non boosted cruizing, can be drowned out by the stockish radio>
$50-100 for various fittings, hoses and raw materials.
LOTS of one off custom stuff
Bracket to hold intercooler
Bracket to hold water cooler
Custom aluminum box in the stock resonator location
But it works and works well, it's all good.

It IS an Si
As far as fuel management, I've got a Z-Dyne Gold ecu, a set of Venom 550CC injectors, with a IBM P1-166 Laptop. GS-T Fuel Pump, soon to have braided stainless feel and return lines.
SiRkid:
Huh, interesting... I've been using "SiR Kid" on various sites since Oct 1999.
Thanks for the kind replies, everybody! It's too bad that as is, I just got a stick broke off in my *** by a Stock Maxima... But only by a car length, at 7 PSI, and revving to 4500.
It will be fast. I SWEAR it :b

I love those year 3-door civics. The CRXs are still the best though

Nice nice Jody, as always You know if you were to take out that pillar (mount your meters elsewhere), and remove the DOHC VTEC stickers, you'd be 100% sleepin
my car is in the garage again, I blew up piston number 4 (again) and bent some rods. 1.5bar wasn't such a healthy thing to do to the engine.. so now I am changing new pistons, rods, rings, etc.. ugh, another big bill to pay. I think this will be the last time I fix up this engine.. if it breaks again, i'm gonna get a B18C dropped in. Whether the turbo goes in or not, I don't know - i'm still thinking about it. Getting tired of having to fix up the engine every 4-5 months - maybe I should just turn the boost down..

Re: Updated Pics of my li'l Sleeper... (nathan's boosted civic)
Maybe you should tune the engine a little more? If number 4 is always failing, I would investigate your fuel delivery. I know you have 4 additional injectors, but it looks like they're welded into the plenum and not each individual intake runner. The air movement inside the plenum might not let enough fuel into cyl 4. It's just a thought.

I like that. Sweet ant to the point. Keep up the good work. How much $$$ do you estimate you have in the car? How much of that is under the hood?

lose the stickers, keep the wheels and clear tail lights. Otherwise, it'll be too normal looking, and you won't get any races. Just trust me on that.

Re: Updated Pics of my li'l Sleeper... (VaporTrail)
Bah, stickers and wheels are staying, JDM tails and upper spoiler are coming.
I'm thinking of putting on some Advan RG's in white with blue or bronze... Any opinions on that?
BTW, there's a thread about this same thing in the EF/CRX forum... It's got my FULL list of engine mods. Scroll down to see the list.

I've got about 8k including the swap under the hood. Probably 15k in the car including the car and all the broken parts. Expensive hobby, but It's been fun for the last 3 years!
