Default Underdrive pulley's worth it with FI??

I was just curious what you guys think of unferdrive pulleys with FI. I am looking for ways to get some cheap hp without turning up the boost. Im running on the blue box and can't afford to go hondataright now (obd2 )
Any of you guys running these with FI set-ups think they are worth the cash or should I put the money elswhere? Also will you actually feel any differences in steering with the power steering pump pulley. I get bad tourque steer right now and was wondering if this might make it worse? thanx for your time guys.

Are you still running a stock intake manifold? I would upgrade that before doing pulleys, the gains would be much greater. BTW - I was at AEBS yesterday and one of the fabricators showed me an intake mani they developed for the b16 and b18 and they were testing one on the dyno on a N/A car and it made an extra 16whp over stock. Keep your eyes peeled for the new mani, it's coming very very soon and the price is so cheap it's unbelieveable!

don't bother. Most screw up the balance of the internals, as our b-series crank pulleys act as a harmonic balancer as well.

I don't think AEM makes a crank pulley. Which is the one that people are scared of.

I've always been told that they aren't balanced. That would create alot of havoc on your crank if that's true. I would do a little more research on them. On my motor i'm just going to stick with the stock crank pulley.

yea im gonna check out what pulleys the AEM's replace.......if they pulley's don't replace the crank pulley then the balance should be fine right?
So as long as stick with the stock crank pulley I should be ok?

You can get an aftermarket crank pully as long as it has a damper in it. That's what you have to worry about. The only thing that I am not sure about as far as the accesories goes, is wether or not you get enough amperage/voltage out of your alternator with a larger pulley on it. I heard that you don't.

Why not take out the power steering and AC and be done with it? That's what I did. Seems like the safer + cheaper option to me.

do you have personal experience with this or did you just hear it from someone else..? i've also heard some folks that have accords (for example) having the unorthodox pullies and have had no problems so far... i think the wisest choice is to confront the manufacturer directly... if your engine ***** up because of their product, they should be responsible so sue the **** out of them...

I keep hearing people say that "MOST" screw up the balance of the b-series. But does anyone have personal experiece........and again if I don't replace the crank pulley I shouldn't have to worry about the balance correct???

Any way you look at it, $150 is not worth the extra 1hp that you may see. From personal experience they are not worth their weight in dirt. Buy something else unless you like wasting money.
I think it was SS that did a test on them, i believe the accord gaind the most power which was 3hp wow.....
