Default uh oh, sprayed without jet

well I was fixing my nozzle to my intake cause it wasn't lined up right. Anyways, I guess the jet dropped somewhere and I forgot to check for it. I was out with my friend and he wanted to see how it pulled. So I arm it and I floor it. 2 secs later, my nitrous quits kicking in and my ABS light turns on. Totally confused as to what happened, I pulled over and reset the ECU. Well, the ABS light stayed on so I just took it home. Anyways, been driving around and I notice a few more things wrong. My power windows don't work anymore, my climate control quit working. There might be more things wrong that I haven't noticed. anyways, has this ever happened to anybody? please help!! Also, my nitrous doesn't work anymore. I'm using a NOS kit. I have a 4th gen prelude by the way. I also checked my fuses and they're not blown.

heh, i did that once, except we were putting thread tape on all the connections, so no leakage, well, one of us (im not pointing fingers..lol) didnt put the nozzel back in, and just screwed the line to the intake. First gear no traction whatso ever, 2nd gear whats traction? 3rd gear suprise, no traction, then "BOOM" wtf was that.

Pull over, all we smell is the nitrous. Get out, shut the bottle. Blew the intake rubber (stock) pipe off the throttle body.

Its a good thing too, i bet if i woulda had an after market intake, metal, i woulda fucked something pretty bad.

4 months later, teg still runs like a beaut.

I'll double check all my fuses. Anybody know why it would do that? maybe it's drawing too much electrical current?

in essence, if ur running w/ no jet. ur sprayn the maximum flow that solenoid supports...most larger ones , super pro shot, super race, they flow about 250hp non jetted.

alright, just finished checking the kick panel fuses and the fuses under the hood. Nothing blown. Still nothing works. I don't see how this could have happened since it was more mechanical based then electrical. I also swapped my ABS relay with my friends and the light still stays on. So anybody know why this happened and what other things I should check?

Probably one of the big fuses in the engine bay fuse box.

basic NOS kit comes with the 16020 solenoid, they are rated at max 175 shot (even though I've had them crap out on me as low as 100 shot). the stem that goes in the intake on that kit is also rated max flow of 175 shot. so even with the larger 1600 noid that is rated at 250 you'll still only flow 175 because of the stem. anyway, it's something electrical. sounds like it's time to get a test light and start tracking. good luck and be happy your lude still runs, could be much worse.

well found out it was a stupid fuse. I thought I checked them all but I guess I didn't. It was number 9a in the kick panel. Everything works again. Didn't get to check out my nitrous again cause my friend wanted to use it. It works on his car so I guess the selenoids aren't burned. thanks for the help
