Default Uberdata problem or maybe not?

I'm using a chipped P28 ecu with OBD2a connector on my ITR (P73).

Uberdata version 1.6666. Loaded StockGSR bin, and unchecked everything except 'VTEC' and 'VTEC Coolant Check'. I'm getting CEL code 20 and 22 which is ELD and VTEC press... As I'm currently running the VAFC hack and switching over to Uber I did not want to take out the AFC totally just in case if it doesn't work I can revert back to the hack setup while I rethink. Because of this I have put VTEC Solenoid and Pressure wires back to normal so that the VAFC is only in monitoring mode with VTEC and fuellling disabled while I swap over to ODB1 and Uber. Could this be the cause of the CEL? Anyone got any ideas?

One of your problems is you unchecked too many things.

ELD should be checked
PA sensor should

Unless the EDM doesnt use ELD and PA sensors. Try checking them all and then unchecking them one at a time and see which ones throw a code.

I'm not entirely sure if EDM ITR is equipped with ELD and PA, I doubt it though.

I've actually tried the ELD both checked and unchecked and it still came up with code 20. It seems like no matter what I select/deselect on the sensors check boxes, I still get the same 20 and 22 codes....I'm lost

Maybe its a bad burn. Try burning the Rom again.

I got 2x 29c256 and have burned several times on both chips. Still no joy. What I find interesting is that I looked into the hex code for the sensors and noticed that The ELD is actually inverted? Meaning that if I check it it would be 00 and with it unchecked it would be FF unlike all the other sensors. Maybe there is a reason for this but in any case as I've tried it with it both checked and unchecked, one should have stopped the ELD CEL but it didn't.... I'm starting to wonder if the P28 is good?

Possible the ecu is bad, but if the car starts and runs it could be something else. Try a different version of Uberdata or Crome.

Have all the bugs been fixed in Uberdata?

I posted there as well but you would get alot more response here than you would from Uber's forum.

I like to know this too. Theres been so many versions and bug fixes out that you loose touch with what the real fully/best working version is unless you keep up with every single thread.

I have heard of bugs with the newest one, I have used 1.64 a couple of times and never had problems. Try a different version.
