Default Uberdata and DSM 450's

Hey all, whats up,

I currently have a hondata and dsm 450's for fuel and I am plagged with Horrible cold starts. The engine bucks and misses until it warms up a bit. This is a huge pain in the ***. Plus I have to change my plugs like every oil change. I think the problem has to do with the Cold start enrichment.

I dont think hondata is claiming responsibility for the issue. So I am considering moving over to Uberdata to see if this fixes the issue. In would like to hear the opinions of others with Uberdata and DSM 450's to see if they are having the same issue???

Thanks,
Ian

im my opinion uberdata is better for the reason that it basicaly does the same thing as the hondata just without you having to spend all the much needed money!!!

I'm running a h22 w/ dsm 450's and my start ups is like stock. Once it warms up it sit at 800-850. I like Uberdata. Its user friendly and all the option in Uberdata is very easy to undertand. Plus its free. I was suprised with just a stock base map. I pulls hella hard at full throttle. And my partial throttle feels like stock. I have only gone only to 6500 rpm because I dont have a/f gauge. But damn even w/o tuning is feels great. Break loose my tires once boost hits. No hesitaion at any rpm yet. I'm just wating on my wideband and so I start street tuning and finishing it up at the dyno. Uberdata

Has uberdata fixed its Cold Start Enrichment option. It seems like thats what I need to adjust on my Hondata. I don't know if Hondata has that option. I would think it does.

I have been turning my engine over with the fuel pump off and then flicking it back on. This seems to be helping somewhat. I should just try it out. I have a programmer, I just need to get a wideband.

just for another experience....heres mine:

i'm running uberdata and DSM 450's and the cold starts are perfect - just like stock, maybe even better. however, many times the warm starts take a few cranks until it finally starts. i guess it's a tradeoff....i wish there was a fix for it.

Same for me too.. uberdata dsm 450s. no cold start problem.

hondata shouldn't be the problem.. most likely the tune

ususally dsm injectors give warm start problems..not cold..
so something is up with the tune

Ok I seriously doubt it would be the tune as my tunner is very expereinced.

To those that tune Hondata what would you do in this situation? Is there an option to pull back fuel on a cold start?

Thanks for all the replies, I would so love to fix this problem thats why I was considering Uberdata...
