uberdata/chrome, etc parts list?
I looked at the FAQ at the uberdata site... I'm a bit confused as what is needed...
The FAQ shows parts/components related to chipping the ECU. So I'm thinking... All I need is an OBDI ECU, OBDII to OBDI harness (I've got a 98 integra)... then the electronics that are related to the chipping. Am I understanding this correctly?
Last questions... I've got a manual non-vtec (B18B)... must I look for a OBDI ECU for a manual non-vtec? Or can any do?
I'm far away from doing this... So I'm trying to collect plenty of info.
Thanks.

You can get all the chipping supplies from me for $10 shipped. http://www.efituningforless.com I ship out priority mail, so you'll have them in hand in 2-3 days
As for the ecu, look for a p06 ecu, they are usually really cheap and will work fine, another option is the p75

Looks like a few resistors and a socket. Still need a ZIF socket (if you don't want to damage the pins from removing/installing the custom chips, which you probably will have to do until you get the right tune) And also the EPROM or EEPROM too.
29C256-12PC x2 This is the chip that you burn with Uberdata
74HC373 x1 The other chip that is reqired
R1.0K x1 1K resistor
.1UF x2 .1uF capacitors
102744 x1 Low profile ZIF Socket
40336 x1 28 Pin DIP socket
these are the acutal parts that you need to chip your ecu, you will then need a rom burner, and the equpiment nessecary for datalogging
I took this info off of Keebler65's website. which you might want to check out!! very informative!!!

in my opinion, thats about the best deal you're going to find since it includes the ZIF socket as well as an EPROM. this way would be better than sourcing your own parts too, because you're guaranteed the correct ones
