this is the fastest way known to lose 10hp to the wheels

 

interesting that ITR cams work well with turbo and not SC.

 

the overlap is crazy on the ITR cams, with a turbo it is OK, because you have that huge obstruction in the way of the turbine, but with a SC you have a clear path of exhaust gasses. so the overlap doesn't help at all, and it actually hurts, I don't understand the reason it hinders performance, but that is why they work with turbo and not SC.

 

my buddy had typeR cams on his JRSC GSR, left over from when he was NA.. he dyno'd at 230whp so he was making good HP.. he is putting GSR cams back in now and well find out if he gains or looses HP this week..

 

If I am not mistaken...Isn't the only cam from the ITR that is good on the GSR is the exhaust?

 

SO i have some itr cams and i am planning on gettting a greddy turbo for my gsr will it work out good in conjunction or what??
