Default Two Step

Well I am wondering if it would be possible to get rid of my two step. I have crome. It is set for 3000rpm and I am wanting to run slicks.
I do have access to a chip burner, just not sure what I have to do?

So just down load it from crome's web site? Sorry I have never tried to tune, or mess with crome.

you have to use crome-pro, and you can't download it, you have to buy the program.

Well what would I need? Would I just copy my chip, load it in the crome program, and then click the little button for two step off and burn a new chip?

of course you don't, but he is already using crome-pro with the 2step option. that is why i told him the only way to get rid of it is to get the crome-pro program and disable that function.

you need the crome-pro program, then just somehow load up the program that had on your chip, disable that function, and re-burn the chip

Where does it say he has crome pro? Dl crome and download the addextrafeatures plug in. disable/change launch control to the same rpm as your rev limiter. save the chip. burn it and your good to go

even if he had it burnt with crome pro i dont think it would matter.

step 1) download crome
step 2)get the burner
step 3) put the chip in the burner and READ the bin on to your computer
step 4) open the bin with crome
step 5) go to the options taba and uncheck the box for 2 step or raise it which ever you like
step 6)save as something new
step7) burn new file to chip
step 8) put it back in car and see if it worked

not sure if you do, but if you have all your AC stuff hooked up (atleast under the dash)
you can disable the "2 step" it by turning on the AC switch.

what i do to make sure its on is i turn my blower fans on, and hit the AC switch and make sure its on, then turn the blower fans back off and at that point the 2 step should be disabled.

try it out and lmk

I don't have a/c any more, but under the dash stuff should be all hooked up. Thanks for the help I'll try that out after work.
