i have the clutchmaster double disc w/ sintered iron pads. i love it!! the clutch is as soft as stock but grabs like a bitch. So far its been good to 750hp. Also the lightened flywheel helps it rev up quickly.

Call clutchmasters, they dont recommend thier twin disc for a daily driver(if thats what your building,if its a race car, ignore this post ),they say itll wear out pretty quick.

All you have to do is have it re-pucked or replace just the clutch plates not the whole assembly. I would rather run the DD clutch then break my leg on a double diaphragm clutch. Also, you dont get the chatter leaving every stop light.

Dude, there's no need to yell. You ask for an opinion I tell you my opinion. If you didn't want my opinion then why ask?

And there is such a thing as overkill for the street.

FYI -- The CM twin disk is not recommended for street use because of it's short life span. You can call Luis up @ CM and he'll tell you the same damm thing! Or you can call Chris @ CM and he'll tell ya!

i had the twin disc(clutchmasters) in my car for almost a year. ran over 100 passes at the track and drove it 2-3 times a week on the street. worked fine. clutchmasters doesn't recommend them for the street, but if your not using it ALL THE TIME or in heavy traffic alot, i think it works great. holds ALL OF THE POWER!!!!
