Default turbos on EBAY

Is this a joke? I see this guy selling a ton of different turbos on ebay, looks like copies of all kinds of brands, garrett, bw, holset, but yet he only has 5 feedback!

yea i was looking at that as well and i am running an egay turbo(10lbs) it has been 7k miles and strong, not even a hint of shaft play. but i am building and looking for either a holset or a ballbearing garret.

anyways he says they are holsets? and he has like 4 feedbacks it says he is from "???? ???? CHINA" and there is a shizit load of them listed. It doesnt make anysense to me, i would not risk it if I were you.

I dont even think this is ssautocrome or power xs.......... so idk.

ok well useing one personally, I know they they are deffinately good for a basic turbo kit. I personally would not push there turbo's past 15ish psi. but my turbo is fine and "NO SHAFT PLAY ONCE SO EVER" really its your choice. but if you just need a little more power go egay if you want 300-400whp plus i would go with a name brand turbo.

Yah, he's been buying core turbos off of Saul Goldfarb from http://www.goldfarbinc.com in order to clone stuff. Why does the biggest manufacture [sic] need to buy cores if they know how to design a turbo?

Well, gee, this thread is sort of a complete waste of time. Anyone who has been around the block or possesses a spare brain cell can see what's going on without making a thread about it, and the sort of people who can't see past turbos for sixty nine cents can't be dissuaded.

Cheap charge piping is far different from a cheap turbo. Unless I've missed the part where charge piping has to be spun at 100k rpm in order to work, then don't compair apples to oranges.

The fact remains that there are many documented cases of china turbos going bad, but I've yet to hear anyone blow up PVC charge piping. I've seen morons using white PVC for 120F water lines, and they are subjected to 60psi.
