Default Turbos

Im a newb to turbos and i was wondering whats the difference between: O, P, Q ,S Trim on the turbine housings? Also on the compressor wheel If the inducer size is larger does that make it more laggy but the boost hits harder? Thanks for all the help

Default Re: Turbos (streetracer)

The way to find the trim on the turbine is:

(exducer diameter squared/ inducer diameter squared) x 100.

So if you get the specs of the inducer and exducer you can find the trim. The O, P, Q trim is just what they call it instead of calling it a 56 turbine trim. Kinda makes it easy to remember too.
