Turboing my Del Sol
I know you get this question alot on here, "what is the Easiest way to turbo my D15b VTec" but in my case it is slightly different. I want to get more power out of my Honda, it is a 1995 Honda Crx Del Sol (or Civic Del Sol i think they are called in the states?), it is the 1.5L Vtec, with 150,000 Km (Not Miles) on the clock. I want more power out of it, looking at 180-200HP would be awesome. the three options im looking at are turboing my current engine in which case id aim for about 8psi, Engine transplant with maybe a B18 that is already turboed or turbo it before i put it in as i understand just putting a straight b18 in wont cut the mustard and also i have a D series gearbox and everything and from the reading i have done they wont go together. also looking at just working the Normally aspirated engine E.g intake, ECU, polishing the ports and heads, re boring etc. I live in New Zealand where parts are less plentiful, i can still get most though. so could you guys please help me out with some advice and opinions?

Im not asking how to turbo my car, im aware of how to do that and id do further research not just make a thread, im asking people who have owned and built honda engines, what of my three throughts would be easiest, most reliable and reach my 180-200hp goal the easiest. Turboing my d15, swapping for a b18 or b20, or working on my normally aspirated engine?

The best way to turbo your car is to learn from others mistakes!
Establish a budget, and see what has already worked in that price range. Trial and error gets very expensive.
