Default turbo vac. lines

alright, so im boosting my y8, and im piecing my kit together, and my question is about vaccum lines, from the wastegate, i believe and bov, are those the only vac. lines. Im planning on running a 38mm external wastegate, and either a greddy or hks ssq . Are there any other vac lines im forgetting, and where do they go, ive been looking on the pictures here and it seems like some have a vaccum box? and go somewhere near the intake mani and others i cant trace.

Now im piecing the kit together, so im sure none of the pieces come with the lines and the lines dont look like anyhting specail, just hardware store material.

Which is another thing, i have a skunk2 intake mani, and i dont use all the vac/ fittings on there, Its a d16y8, and the mani is for several cars(y8,z6,b7,a6) and i think they just put every vac. fitting on there to keep costs down, but if those vac lines from the turbo DOOO go to the mani, can i use those fittings in the mani to connect the vac. lines too. ill post apic in a few showing the ones i use if i can remember.

Yes you can use the lines from the manifold. People normaly make vac boxes when they dont have enough lines.

your going to need these extra vac lines for your setup

bov
wastegate
boost gauge
boost controller (if using one)
FMU (if using one)

platinum.

I'm in the process of turboing my d16y8 and I'm kind of worried about where to connect my vacuum lines too. Where are are the possible lines I can get vacuum from?

if you use the vac mani you would prob want to tap off on a bigger line like the brake booster vac. i think thats the one but dont quote me on it.

2 vac sources off the IM is enough.

all you need to connect is the wg and bov to each IMO. if you're gonna run a boost controler or fmu, you can use a t-fitting and tap through the wg line.

i have all of my stuff through the fpr right now. it works ok
