Turbo Type-R?????
I was just wondering why turbo a type r besides the hp? The compression is high and if you want to build it you lower the compression anyway, so wouldn't that cancel out buying a expensive type r motor ? You can buy a sleved gsr motor for about the same price that can handle alot more boost? Why am i seeing alot of people do this set up?

because like me, some people already have a type-r motor, so it would be kind of stupid to go get a GSR and not work with what we got.....
plus R motor flows better and your just "cooler" if you have a boosted R over a gsr....

Yep, turbo B18C5's are fun. I wanted to go N/A the first time around and quit at 200 whp, now I want 300 whp... try doing that with a set of cams
. I dont believe I'll have to touch the inside of it til over 300 whp, above that and its getting built. EV.

Most of the import pro racers who use a B series block use a TypeR block. TypeR has better handling, better chassis, overall is a better car than a gsr anyday of the week. Type R all the way........

Type R's are bad *** for turbo, hell they are bad *** for everything.. but if your on a budget and doing a swap into a hatch dont bother with it itll be too expensive..
