you're going to need an OBD2b to OBD1 conversion harness, a chipped P28, and a tuning software.....then you're going to need someone to tune it....what does your setup look like so far??

How far are you from SD area? Look up Importbuilders.com for Hondata, ECU and tuning and I also recommend LOCASH for conversion harness

I want to say he is around the LA area or SD area… Go to his site importbuilders.com and check with him to see where he is located.... I cant remember which though, But I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to tune with Hondata in that area.. he is defiantly worth the drive... we flew him out to Hawaii to tune around 15 cars for us that where all on Hondata back in 03-04

Also Jerry Built is another place to look into for tuning

You can, just keep the stock injectors in and the ecu the car came with. DONT go into boost. Oh and take out the spring in the wastegate so you dont build boost.

if you know your setup, then you can tell the person who is chipping your ECU to put a basemap on it for you so that you can drive to get tuned....

Yeah, the basemap is only used so you can drive around and get to the tuner. DONT boost on the basemap

A base map is a base for tuning, it simply works for you to start your car and check for leaks and so on (it is pretty much a guess on allot of things. Just because its tuned for one persons car does not mean it will be the right tune for you. Every motor is different and there are allot of variables that can be different).....

I do not recommend for anyone to drive around on one due to not knowing what your a/f ratio is and you run the chance of washing out your cylinders with to much fuel..... I will tell you like I tell everyone

1. Start your car to check for CEL's, oil leaks, coolant leaks and vac leaks
2. Put your car on a trailer or get it towed to who ever is tuning
3. Put the car on the dyno and tune
4. take the car out to do a street tune for driving conditions
5. Enjoy boost and dont worry about anything that "could" go wrong because of you being on a base map
