Is the apex avcr really worth the money or should i just go with a cheaper boost controller?

I'm curious. So is it worth it or not? Dustin, what can I get for a boost controller? I want something that functions well but don't want to spend too much money. While I am at it, what do you think of the apexi turbo timer that also has an a/f meter. I know a/f gauges aren't accurate but I already purchased egt, fuel pressure, and boost gauge for monitoring and thought it couldn't hurt to see the a/f ratio. Thanks.
