whelp honestly after everything is all said and done, $2500 is not that much. and PLEASE don't get cheap ebay crap! I don't know much about the b20's, but on the b18 you can safely run 10-12psi all day depending on your [U]tune[U]. Your tune is the most important thing, and can be the most expensive depending on your setup. Do not go cheap on your turbo either, and get a decent radiator. I can say your HP goals are approx 250 maybe with that budget and a proper tune, and if i were you look for lightly used, better quality parts bc you know they will last and you won't have2 pay full price.
Also, do not settle. It is well worth it to get frustrated, and hold off a little longer to get the right parts than to try2 take shortcuts and end up ruining your engine.
Off the top of my head you need:
turbo
exhaust manifold
downpipe
wastegate (some turbos have built in WG but usually not recommended)
blow off valve
Radiator
slim fan
Intercooler
Intercooler piping
T-bolt clamps/couplers
new iridium spark plugs *note your gap is smaller than stock
bigger injectors
obd1 ecu - either you tune yourself or get tuned
obd2 to obd1 conversion harness
fuel pump
wideband - I recommend Innovative's MTX-L i love it
Oil line to turbo, drain oil line to oil pan
Hopefuly you get bigger exhaust piping, i have 3 inch, no cat, dynomax turbo muffler and it is very quiet
stock fuel pressure regulator will work and stock map on b18's reads up to 12 psi
new cap/rotor recommended as well as spark plug wires
Soo yeah thats most of it. Hopefuly you can do most the fabrication yourself...
