Turbo Suggestions?

Need Help finding a Turbo with a C.A.R.B. imprint/sticker (california, north bay)
I've got a CRX dx that i'm dropping a D15Z1 in. It already has a Turbonetics turbo on it(the guy i bought the motor and car it came in spent 2 years building the car so that it could handle it) but there's no C.A.R.B. sticker or imprint on the turbo itself, so i'm pretty sure that it won't pass a visual from a smog techie or a referee. I'd like to avoid all the legal mumbo jumbo by going legit and build it the "California Legal" way. Anyone know of any credible turbo's to go with so that i can keep using all the other parts that would otherwise sit in my garage?

You won't pass eitherway with a turbonetics kit. It has an external wastegateg. Go for the Greddy and be done, or try to register the car elsewhere.

Re: (vesperfx)
did you say that the motor is built too? i dont think thats going to pass either.
i say... buy stock parts and switch stuff out when its time to get your smog. greddy kits are legal but weak as *****. *once you had an intercooler and bov to the greddy kit.. you fail smog*
edlebrock also makes a turbo kit thats 50 state legall uses garrett turbos, and gives wayy more power than greddy. but costs almost twice as much.

If by that statement you mean routing the wastegate dumptube back into the exhaust stream, No. He still would not pass, especially california Visual. He'll need an internally gated turbo with a C.A.R.B. sticker. This is why edlebrock's kit is so expensive. They are paying for the legality of the system.
