Default Turbo stopped boosting at track

I went to the track yesterday for the first time with my boosted crx. My first run i had boost in 1st gear but when i hit 2nd there was no boost. so i backed off and thought i blew a charge pipe but wheni checked all the pipes were fine. tried another run and nothing. checked turbo and no shaft play, and its spinning. when i left i disconected the wastegate to see if that was it, and i got boost for just a second then it went back down to zero. i didnt get a chance to mess with it much anymore but what should i be looking for as the cause of the problem?any help is appreciated thanks

Chances are you have a leak, even though you checked it over. Check every connection again, just because the connector is over the pipe doesn't mean it's sealing.

lack of oil pressure will cause the turbo not to spool as well, hopefully that's not it...
