Hey, I have a 99 gsr and am ready to boost. I will be limited to stock internals for quite awhile and I want to select the kit that will give me the best hp for only being able to run 8-9 psi. I was thinking either F-max or Greddy. What would you guys reccomend?

Greddy is not the best choice if you are looking for big #s. There are some guys that have pulled pretty impressive numbers from the td05 turbo, but at the same level of boost, this just isn't typical. This turbo just doesn't flow as much as a t3/t4.

Search Revhard or Drag. There is plenty of info archived in this forum to help you with your quest.
I had a revhard stage II myself and was super happy with it. Technically, this kit will probably give you the best #s since it has a 57 trim compressor rather than the slightly smaller trim of the other kits. One guy is putting down 277 at 7.25 psi untuned on a stock GSR. This is not typical, though...It's gotta be that damn Dallas air.

Those new MaxRev kits look pretty cool too. Don't know enough to comment on them, though.

 

I kinda like Rev Hard. Check them out, there kits seem to produce very good numbers.
