Default turbo setup

is it bad for the turbo to just spin freely without boosting ? i am selling the dc sports header, and i am putting the mani and the turbo in place w/ oil lines hooked up. i need money to buy the hondata that is y the mani is for sale, that is y i ask if the turbo will be harmed ? lmk guys

wow. I had to read that like 3 times. Do you mean to hook up the turbo without the charge pipes? If so no it's not safe because the turbo can overspin because it has to pressure to tell it when to spot spinning. Do it all at once or don't do it at all until you are ready.
