Default turbo return question

so i got my turbo installed, it turns out my oil line was kinda kinked so it blew the seals. we fixed the line and the turbo still leaked out of one of the bolts on it. So i got a new turbo. i was wondering if the hole on the bung was too small, how big should it be? i tried putting the back end of a sharpie marker through it to check the size and it was a little too small.

also, would too much oil in the engine play a factor in oil backup? how much oil is in the pan when the car is running?

Are you referring to the oil drain line size from the turbo to the pan? I am using a -10AN for the return. How far down from the oil pan flange is the return port?

Should be a -10 some say -8. The center section should not be clocked more than 30degrees. Is it a ball bearing turbo?
