Turbo questions?
I just bought a drag turbo kit for my gsr civic hatch and is wondering if this is a good set up or not. Im planning on keeping the block untouched and for the head i have itr camshafts with skunk2 valvesprings and retainers. Should i keep the itr camshafts or swap back to gsr? Next will be my skunk2 intake manifold should i swap this over in favor for the jg intake manifold? Whats a good size injectors for my farily stock turbo set up? What about boost? For daily what do u guys recommend and if i was at the track whats the safest (highest) that i can go without damaging my motor? Motor will also be tuned after everything has been installed. Here's a list of my all motor gsr current set-up, any help would be very appreciated. Thanks!
94 gsr b18c1
skunk2 intake manifold/68mm throttle body
itr camshafts/skunk2 valvesprings/retainers
drag complete turbo kit
itr tranny (usdm)

I'm not sure how much boost it will take to get there, but on 94 octane or lower fuel, i wouldnt push it any harder than about 340whp. If you have access to something better, then your goals can increase some...remember that this is still a stock engine though

yes everything will be pretty much stock as in no internal work, i was thinking on a daily basic, set the boost at 7-9psi? and for track maybe 12-14psi? Someone with better knownledge please shed some light, thanks.

It's not the psi that your block can hold, it's the horsepower, also remember that your stock map sensor will not read past 11-12 psi, i wouldn't be running that much anyway on your setup, get a chipped ecu, throw it in, run like 5 pounds or so, and drive it to the tunner.
you should be able to get about 325-350 at the wheels on 9-10 psi on 93 with a good tune.
just get a walbro 255, some like 750cc injectors, and a good tune
You're not gonna need much more than that if you're planning on driving this thing on the street, keep the boost and hp down on the street, have you ever ridden in a car with over 380hp to the wheels? it's hella fast and you won't get traction till 4th or even 5th gear on street tires, you'll be more than happy with 300 to the wheels and you'll be rippin up evo's, sti's, and prob some Zo6's and Vipers.

oh and i'd ditch that itr tranny for an ls, with the power you'll be puttin down you don't need that tight of a gear ratio. I have a completly stock ls in my 5g putting down around 220 to the wheels and my ls tranny is geared just fine.
use the money you make from sellin the tranny to buy rods, pistons, arp head studs, and a motorola 2.5 bar if you really wanna put down some power

Not to sound conceited, but if you're looking for someone with more knowledge than what i've given (and the others) you're going to be waiting a while...possibly forever. You need to learn how to interpret the answers we give you. Until you can do that, keep reading...

Keep the transmission as it is. It's ratios are more than fine. Use any additional monies for the engine management and tune.
