Are you using stock head studs? It sounds like head lift under full boost...I had this issue before on the old design of Cometic head gaskets. Check your head gasket & buy some head studs.

were you running conventional oil before you switched to full syn? on my bmw i had no syn so i put conventional in and it smoked at high rpms. i changed the oil and put the regular full syn and it stopped after like 10 mins. also how many miles on the motor? if you have high miles or brand new rings the full syn will somtimes slip right past the rings and could cause breakin broblems on new rings. just my 2cents and experiance

The difference in exhaust color especially when your driving and cant se from behind is hard to tell. On 8 psi of boost i dont think your making enough power to lift the head BUT anythign is possible. You could be lifting under boost but that usually is followed by a spike in engine temps from the exhaust gases getting into the coolant passage

What size oil feed and drain on the turbo? any restrictor?
next time you make a pull check your temp and see if its starts to run hot, check for oil in coolant or coolant in oil as well. Unless the timing is super aggressive on that power level i dont think it would be a cracked sleeve

I do have a restrictor not sure on the size i thought that was the problem to begin with .. so i went an ordered this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-T...Q5fAccessories witch was a hair to big an the oil feed line wouldnt fit to the head of the restrictor .i fixed the oil return line i noticed it wasnt running on a down slope back to the oil pan so i pulled it off to fix it an when i did that alot of extra oil just poored outa the line so im thinkin it wasnt gettin the proper drain back into the oil pan ...

That could definatly be your issue, if oil isnt draining properly it backs up into the turbo and leaks real quick. try that and see what goes

That tad bit of info does help us. Have you tried running the car since you fixed the oil return line? Issue resolved?
