Default Turbo problem

Ok so I think my turbo is screwed. Instead of the turbo kicking in and actually working all I'm getting is a weird sound which sounds very similiar to a wounded rabbit (squealing noise). There is no power increase what so ever. Theres no oil leak so I dont think it's anything to do with that. Any ideas what it could be? I can put photos up but it's just a standard setup and theres no obvious problems I can see from just looking at it.

Sounds like boost leak. Check all your couplers for rips and tighten down all your t-bolt clamps.
