If i turbo my car and can't put the gauges in for a couple weeks after i install the turbo will i be alright? i will probably definately have the boost and EGT gauges put in. i will have to wait a little while for the a/f fuel press and oil press, soon followed by the boost controller. probably have turbo timer installed with turbo as well. Any help would be greatful

any suggestions on gauges for a non daily driven car? which ones to get autometer etc? a/f egt...etc? eventual build up and want to get ahead of the game a bit

i would say u would be okay because the autometer a/f gauges aren't terribly accurate anyways. just keep her filled up with premium, and listen for detonation. and also keep an eye on ur EGT

OT: You live in Burlington? I've never seen anything modded there.

FYI By time you actually hear the detonation there's already damage. It may not be serious damage, but there's damage.

 

forgot to ask what PSI, for anything higher than 5 i would put gauges in right away otherwise pull ur plugs off after a couple really short boosted runs etc..keep an eye on EVERYTHING!
