Default turbo materials?

maybe a strange question....

i need to know what materials a turbo is made off.
because, i'm doing college for becoming an building engineer in holland.
my project is to make a building of a blown up object. so i will design a turbo so big that it can hold more then 750+ m2 of floorspace . this is huge and will be very innovative. but i need to use the exact same materials as featured in a turbo . cast, forged, alu, steel, brass. these things must all be put into considiration and most important, put to use! so i need to know materials of for example the compressorwheel, turbinewheel, bearings, turbine housing, compressorhousing, and the other parts involved.

now i know i could propably best mail garret or something but i think it will take a long time to get the answers. so maybe some of you can help me out

Compressor wheel and housing are genrally aluminum. The exhaust housing, well some are cast iron, others are cast Inconel and other exotic materials. The shaft and exhaust wheel varies, some of the more blingy turbos have inconel exhaust wheels, titanium aluminide or for the true ballers, Marm 247. The CHRA is generally cast iron but could be a number of exotic materials.

It would help to pick a specific turbocharger and go from there.

thnx man. the problem is, they want me to do a real maquette.....

i told them that if they sponsored me a nice GT35R or GT40R i would be glad to
sadly they did not want to cough up something around 1000 $
so i have to convince my local junkyard to give me one for very cheap

so it will propably be a cheap mitsu turbo or some little diesel turbo

but hey, life's great sometimes and sucks most of the time

keep the materials flowing, remember cheap factory turbo propably

That is a turbo off a Volvo. I would have too see the numbers on the compressor cover to be sure what size it is but those can be a 15G compressor wheel. Good to about 280 hp.
