Which turbo manifold?
I'm looking to piece together a turbo kit for a '95 Integra GSR with ls motor. I was wondering what problems (if any) have you had with certain brands of turbo manifold. Which one flows better? I don't have money for an equal length one though. I'm probably going to go with a T3/T4.
I know the Drag manifold is ac compatible, which others are?
Thanks.

Re: Which turbo manifold? (specie)
Viren aka b18bturbo has an tubual manifold available which is ac compatible. It is of very good quality what I heard of. I have ordered one yesterday!
Don't buy the DRAG manifold, lot of people (including me) have spoted little cracks all over the manifold. Max-Rev and Inlinpro are also good manifolds what I know of, but not tubular design. All fits ac.
T3/T04e here too.

Re: Which turbo manifold? (NYb16)
Thanks guys. I'll try to stay away from the Drag manifold. I've heard that SFP kits make pretty good power.
How much was the SFP manifold?
Any comments on Revhard manifolds?
Thanks.

Re: Which turbo manifold? (specie)
I would go with Rev-Hard before Drag but they both are heavy and can strain the exhuast bolts and both have been known to crack. Inline Pro makes a nice manifold as well. All ports matched and equal length tubes is the best but cost more.

Get a Type R Racing Manifold...BAD *** and about the same price as all listed and you can keep A/C depending on your downpipe
I can get it for you let me know.

Re: Which turbo manifold? (Jordo)
thats OBX
i have a max rev manifold... forged stainless. lighter weight and stronger than cast iron drag/rev hard manifolds. i can keep ac, and wg placement is excellent.

Re: Which turbo manifold? (Jordo)
Yah I have heard that about the OBX thing. OBX doesnt have manifolds they just have them in their catalog. Some of our competitors were saying that we bought obx manifolds and put our name on it, which is not true because OBX doesnt have the manifolds. With that aside the manifold is retail $599 with tial/delta flange. I can work on the price though. If you are in VA I can def get you a better price. I will know tomorrow how much discount i can give you.
The manifold is made out of Full Polished Stainless Steel.
The downpipe is custom looks good huh?
Let me know.

Re: Which turbo manifold? (Elite Hatch)
Well if they dont have manifolds then why do they have the same one on their site? http://www.obxracingsports.com/perfo...=3&subcatID=21

Are you sure you can keep A/C with this? You are starting to sell me more and more cause your kit looks really good but looks like a/c won't fit. Mainly the dumptube but let me know, this would be a b-series swap in a civic

whoaaaa buddy (Elite Hatch)
That is our manifold with the tial flange. MAX REV I dunno about that peice if i HAD to get a forged the only one i would even think about would be the inline pro. But I wouldnt give up a Full Stainless Equal Lenth for anything else
Also i liked how you managed to call the maxrev manifold a "piece." You want to try to blow up our spot? I know how much you pay for that manifold and where you get it from. Lets not start a flame war but lets just say you get them overseas and youre making a pretty penny on them. I considered selling them as an AC compatible manifold, but upon looking at them (and the heavily melted/poorly welded collectors) i decided against it.

Re: Which turbo manifold? (Elite Hatch)
hell yeah rock the team type-r **** it's so tight when you actually see it in person, just like the stainless steel dc headers that change color plus it added like 20 h.p. to my boy's already turbo'd and built si plus boost just jumps to full after very slight hesitation
