Default Turbo Lag at high boost

Hi fellow HT, I have a 94 accord with an F22B1 with a T3/T04e turbo running at 8 psi's. Well last saturday I decided to run it at the races and i misshifted so it redlined like crazy. The next run I ran, the turbo was lagging when boost was engaged so i popped the hood and found out that the hose running from the external wastegate to the intake piping next to the intake manifold had popped off. I connected the hose back and it was still lagging. I decrease the boost to 4 psi's and it's running fine but anything above 4 psi, it will lag. Also my A/F ratio is jumping from lean to stoich constantly. It never did that before. Could my A/F ratio use some tuning? What can i do? Please help. Thanks

well my vac is reading a little below 20 if that helps. It idles fine but I do notice that the car is running a little rich because of the constant lean to stoich even at idle it does that

i would re check all of you vac lines to holes or whatever, also how bad did you misshift, was the clutch let all the way out? there is a possibility of bent valves from the high rpm of the misshift causing piston to valve contact from valve float... this could cause lack of vacuum. i know my car usually at idle has between 20-25hg

if it is what you said it possibly could be, then wouldn't my car run like **** even with the boost at 4 because even at 4 it's running perfect. Just not as fast and exciting as it was at 8
