Wanted to just share my new setup, this is what my weekend consisted of! Thanks for looking and I started a build thread, but Ill be asking a mod to delete it. I want to make a more organized one! Any questions about my setup just ask! Shooting for around 700whp.

ish lol. Mostly will sit in the shop but occasionally go to a local meet and such. After I find a decent filter to run for the turbo.

 

 

Why build a clean bad a$$ car and just let it sit? Cars are made to be driven. Looking good so far.

 

Thank you, I will take it out, my point is, it will only come out, to a nice day, Car will never see rain again, will never be just drive to be driven as a vehicle. To much money in it for some ******* to run a stop sign, get stolen, or something of that nature. Honestly the car was hit two days after I bought it with the ls turbo in it. Some moron at a stop sign ran it , and hit my 1/4 panel, then insurance cut me a 3,000$ check which funded majority of the built engine. So you just really never know whats going to happen.

 

I hear that.. That's why I changed over to Grundy. Nice days, track event ( even then it's trailered) that's it. Semi-retirement FTW!!

**** my last turbo civic got totalled cause some dumb ******* crossed the double solid yellow lines.... in front of a semi. luckily everything was savalable. bought an em1, and had alot left over to build and engine. it definitley sucks to see all your hard work go out the drain, then **** on by the insurance company.

**** i rarely drive my car now. tryin to do the old mcuscle car guy thing. when the car is tarp covered for years, then pulling it out at random after years.

 

"LS Joker" I hear you man. My car will get plenty of attention. I currently am sponsored by a buddys shop, hinting the windshield banner. I will be finishing this up and dyno tuning, after my tuner gets healthy (bad accident playing on a four wheeler). Then Ill be converting my 99 gsr to a RHD, and throw some starks on it, and just ride out haha.

 

I know what you mean about being hit like that. I got t-boned by a drunk on a county highway in my accord driving home from my gf's at midnight (I'm still in hs). Car flipped twice. Now any time I drive my crx or ep3 at night I'm scared to death of being hit again. Expecially my crx with how much money I've got in it and I'm sure I have only a fraction of what you have spent on your car in mine.
