Turbo ON ITB IS IT POSSIBLE?
itb= individual throttle body
with enough money, anything is possible.
ive seen it done, but i dont reallything think you can call it itbs because they all suck from the same pipe but go into the head seperatly.

Those are already made by TWM and other different manufacturers.

Tell me you didn't pay full price for these?

IMO ITB's are for all-motor madmen. Not turbos.

I think along the same lines as this guy. Why do all that work on tuning your NA ITB setup and then turn around and throw a turbo on there? Just seems like a waste of time and money to me... but that's just me.

You don't need a Skyline. You can get an old 86 Corolla RWD or 88 Corolla FX FWD. There's a big aftermarket surrounding this car. Then import a silvertop 20V 4AGE. It comes factory with individual throttle bodies, an airbox around them, 5 valves per cylinder, and variable cam timing. FACTORY. From there you piece together your junkyard turbo kit. What you'd end up with is something that would smoke the vast majority of cars in the Honda scene. It would be very unique, and very fun to drive/drift/race being that it's a light weight RWD.

I thought he wanted to do it on his car not get another car

ok now that looks more like what im tryin to do without the chrome where did you get the work done and what kinda power i need to know because im hittin brick walls where im at and if i gotta go to another state then i will .
personally i would sellt he ITB and put it towards a good tune and your kit. ITB turbos are sweet to see, but I couldnt see myself having them on a turboed car when they dont really prove any crazy gains.
I don't think Tony kept his ITB's for the purpose of horsepower, but rather the throttle response. It complimented his GT28RS well. If you are expecting some sort of huge gain by running the ITB's, I think you are overlooking the main reason a majority of people run ITB's.
If you are interested in making a plenum for the TODA units, it will have to be a custom made one. However, TWM makes an airbox/plenum for their ITB's.
It is proven you can make more power with a standard plenum versus ITB's, which is why most high HP Skylines and Pulsars have aftermarket plenums.

My personal belief is that ITB's on a F/I setup is going to overcomplexify thing; mainly the tuning. Pulsar GTI-R's and Skylines run MAF sensors that makes tuning very easy compared to a similar setup on a MAP-based system.
