Default Turbo install help.

Hey im about to install my custom setup on my o2 civic and I was wondering if you guys use any sort of liqud gasket or anything when bonding the downpipe to the turbo, turbo to manifold, wastegate to manifold or dump tube to WG? thanks

I use no gaskets because they only end up blowing. Make sure all your flange surfaces are clean and level [not warped]. Use a little bit of copper spray if you want and you're set.

I don't use gaskets, but I've heard of people using a bit of copper spray like mentioned in the previous post.

yeah thats why i was asking. I have seen people use the copper, but not the spray the tube kind. anyone else use anything different?

I don't think you're going to want to use anything that is going to 'glue' the flanges together.

if you ever read HCI i noticed that in a lot of their turbo installs they use that liquid copper gasket stuff. but i guess i'll save the headach and just bolt them straight up. thanks
