Turbo help on GSR
I have a 98 GSR. I plan on getting the Greddy Turbo Kit within the next couple months. But first I would like to make my engine ready for it with some better internals. I would just like to get some opinions on different ways to approach this.
I was thinking of getting JE Pistons with a compression ratio of 9.5:1 and replacing the head gasket with a Cometic. Any other suggestions or should I try a different route. I plan on running 7-10 psi when installed with some other mods. Trying to do it all one shot.

Re: Turbo help on GSR (EvoTeg325)
As far as fuel mgt. what are you planning to use, the GReddy "Blue Box" or a standalone like Hondata?

Re: Turbo help on GSR (EvoTeg325)
I have done that setup already and I can tell you it will move. I have a Drag kit on mine and I went with JE 9:1 pistons. I think 9.5:1 would have worked better for more power out of boost so stick with it. I've got the Hondata 3b as well. Good luck...
