Im gonna be building a turbo setup and Im not so sure which way to go. Im kinda stuck between the d16y8 or just doing an LS turbo. All I want is about 300 horse on the street and maybe 350 or so on a higher octane fuel at the track. I know I can get these kinda numbers out of both engines but im not so sure what the torque numbers are going to be aswell as what the final price may be. Im not doing it on a budget but im not going to spend tons of money on something that can be done better for cheaper. Anyways... Im hoping some of you guys can post up your opinions or maybe even some pros and cons to both motors.
