Turbo GSR question.
Well i finally decided to go ahead and put the turbo setup on the car. My question is what kind of boost/power can i make on a 100% stock gsr motor(no headstuds or blocksaver) before i have to start worrying about splitting the sleeves?
Setup is-
98 GSR motor with 70k miles on it. All cylinders leaked down between 3-5%
Garret 50trim with .48 exhaust housing
Drag LOG manifold
Spearco Intercooler
Neptune RTP
RC 550cc injectors
255hp pump
Thats about all i can remember right now, i am want to make about 300whp safely on pump gas.

Re: Turbo GSR question. (irok)
on my gsr its stock engine with no mods with a t3/t4 hybrid turbo and its making 252 to the wheels at 6 pounds and 298 at 10 pounds of boost so that might give you a hint

That's a smaller sized turbo so don't expect to break 300whp with anything under 15 pounds (tuned conservatively and no crazy sae corrections). 300whp is usually the barrier I stop at with daily driven stock B series motors.

Re: Turbo GSR question. (Dual Cam Racing)
I dont really want to go any bigger on the turbo. This turbo is small and compact enough that i might be able to keep all the A/C stuff in the car(or atleast i hope so) This turbo came off of a VW corrado that made 240whp at 8-10 psi, I am just trying to see if i can get to 300 on this motor without putting too much stress on the cylinders as its my daily driver while i am putting together my DSM's.
