turbo is going back on tomorrow
first time the turbo went on seemed like revhard gave me a bad turbo
from the second i turn the car on oil was coming out of the exhaust
here is the new one they sent me today
wish me luck tomorrow that this one has seals that are good

Hmmm... from what i heard is that there was lots of misc dirt and metal particals in the center housing... since it was christmas RevHard Mfg decided to send you out right away another turbo before they inspected the bad turbo and give you a polished housing at no extra charge...its not cool to blame some one else when they tried to help you out and it was your fault...!!!!

your riught i should have blamed revhard since they don't make the turbo
and i do appreciate that they gave me a new one, but i didn't like the fact that they said the crap that was found inside the turbo was from me. there is no possible way i got metal inside there. the turbo was bad from the start

The same thing happened to my turbonetics t3/t4 and I too was sent a polished replacement. My kit was Drag not Revhard though.

this is because the oily residue that they use when they oil it up. happened on my garrett t3t4 for the first few days, look inside the exhaust turbine blades and it should be oily, this is normal

Mine either, but it does now. Never really bothered worrying til now with the new motor. I have to replace teh seals....anyone ever do this themselves?? If not, whats the price to have it sent and rebuilt and high speed balanced?

we charge $250 for a complete rebuild. including, full turbocharger inspection, hot tank cleaning, replacement of seals, bearings, high speed balance, and free return shipping.
edit: also we include a new inlet gasket and oil feed and return gaskets free!
