Default turbo ef custom radiator?

I am in process of turbo install and am stuck on the radiator. I hate the look of the eg radiator in the ef and am looking at a custom unit that measures 14" tall, 15" wide, and 2.5" thick. While this radiator would fit perfectly where I need it to, would it keep the 200-230hp car cool enough?

thats pretty small..but if it existed it might do it.

look at Scirocco style radiators. nice and short, fit under the core support, etc. i'm running a griffin 3'' thick one on my one car, and a stock VW one on another

It will fit between crossmember and core support and wont extend past the t bar. Any pictures or links to your setups?

My turbo sits well under the core support on the driver side and with the downpipe in there, wont allow vey much clearance at all hence the need for such a smaller radiator.

I also plan on using a 10 or 12" slim fan in there as well.

I used a vw scirroco rad that actually fits where your ac condensor would. it requiers the use of an external fill neck, but leaves more space for your turbo and cooling fan.

I actually thought about doing what your thinking when I was first doing my setup. If you look it up on google there are plenty of places that build custom radiators online if you send them the specs. You might even be able to find a shop locally to do it.

Decided to go with the Scirocco radiator. After several measurements given their dimensions, it will be very close to barely fitting in there. Thanks for the heads up guys
