Turbo of dubious quality-should I keep it?
I recently bought a turbo from turbocalculator.com *flame suit on*, of course without doing my normal amount of research, and now I'm finding horror stories about these turbos so I'm thinking about throwing it up on ebay. Here's the thing: the turbo seems nice! It's one of their brand new ones, not a reman. garrett and it has zero shaft play and spins beautifully. It even has a turbonetics exhaust housing (wtf). What should I do? TIY

they use garrett chra's on some of them. almost all of their turbos are remanufactured.
the housings suck *** and ssac, the owner of turbocalculator, has a cast to make the "T" in the housings to make them appear to be turbonetics.
i say ditch it on ebay or something and how can you tell its new?
