turbo difference
http://www.exospeed.com/turbo.htm?x=102&y=17
on this website it shows that you can upgrade your garrett t3/t4 t04B turbo to a garrett t04E turbo. I was curious as to the diference in HP gains.
if it matters I am getting the tile wastegate, missing lynk, 2 1/2 piping, and clutch upgrade thinggy majiggers
thanks

i think that is to upgrade it to a full t4 not a t3/t4.
That would be a SMOKING deal to upgrade to a full T04!
hmm.
just did that exact upgrade to my car this week.
spools a bit slower but when it does spool it pulls much harder and stronger to redline. doesn't peter out like the T04B. Granted, if I had a built engine, the To4E with 0.63a/r would also be good for an additional 50hp as well.

A friend has the t04b, it pulls, but nothing super crazy... he's a stick 01 LS.
I'm auto 99, I have the t04e... first off mine is considerably bigger... *beast factor* second mine spools a tad slower. BUT when I hit 3500+ rpm my **** pulls and doesn't stop for nothing.. basically my turbo flows more then his.. example
a straight t3/t3 turbo pushes about 400cfm of air..
a t3/t04e probably pushes in the area of 850cfm or more...
What does this mean?
Well the t3/t3 at 10psi is NOTHING compared to the t3/t04e at 10psi... the t3 would probably have to be set at 20psi to get the same hp or feel as the t3/to4e at 10psi... its all about flow, not psi :D
