I've got a z6 in a 88 crx hf. All i have motor wise is head bolts and cap studs and i swaped 89 integra hc pistons into it. the compression is 12.1 right now. i know that everyone says no, but is there anyway to put 3-6psi boost into it. i know that its alot of pressure in the motor and its easy to blow. but you dont really see it (yes i know why) and i know there is a lot of power to be had in boosting hc motors. anyone know a good way to go to accomplish this

 

Thats too high of a compression...I would put some lower comp pistons in before I bother to boost it...

 

yeah ur gonna blow the motor with that high of compression

 

tune it really well, use good fuel, watch that ignition timing.

 

you can turbo a high compression motor..

the only thing is that it has to be a VERY CONSERVATIVE tune. your not going to be tuning it for power...your going to be tuning it just to get it running good

 

alright. i've got a guy who can tune the hell out of it if i can build it.
