Default Turbo d16

ok i have 2500 to put into a motor and turbo kit for my ef....im planing on buying a d16y6 for around 300 and that leaves me with about 2200 to spend...im looking for 300 wheel hp on high boost about 20 pounds...ive heard lots of bad thing about ss auto crome turbo kits but local ppl around here are fast on 6 psi....what should i do with $2200 i was thinking pistons,rods and a block gaurd and spending $750 on that and then spending $1100 on the turbo kit ???? any ideas ???

If you have an EF, stick with the B16 that comes stock in EFs. There is no mount kit available to fit a D-series into an EF, and AFAIK no one's wasted the time to try such an engine swap.

BTW, if you live in Tennessee, how'd you come by a real honest to god EF, anyhow? How'd you get it titled in America?

B16 Didn't come stock in USDM. Only JDM Sir's.
D16Y6 Is a good choice if you don't want to go with B

EFs didn't come in USDM.
