Turbo compression quick question
Some is selling a motor that I might want to buy since it is built already (Arias pistons). My question:
he is running 10:1 compression. Is that low enough still to boost??? I was planning on going down to 9:5 or even 9:1, but not really sure.
I plan on boosting 8-12 daily driven, but maybe 18 at most later.
Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

Re: Turbo compression quick question (Urugly)
10:1 is fine for boost, but can you confirm the motor you are getting really does have upgraded internals or are you just taking someones word for it?

I'm running 10:1, Hondata. In the 10-18 psi area you will want to limit timing to 18 degrees or so and keep air/fuel ratios around 11.5:1.
