Im having a difficult time understanding compressor maps first and foremost.

Goal:500whp+

Parts acquired:
Manly-Hbeams
CP-9:1
ACL Bearings
Supertec Valve train with dual valve springs, dish race nitride valves, titanium retainers, and bronze valve guides
Unsure about cams yet might stick with GSR cams until i research some aftermarket turbo cams
Benson Sleeved GSR block
Stock GSR Trans
Ram-Horn Manifold
2.5'' Charge Piping
HKS ssqv bov
Netics WG

I have a egay 60-1 Journal bearing divided housing turbo and i am NOT a fan of ebay parts so the turbo will have to work until i can decide on another turbo. this turbo HAS made a 10s 1/4mile pass on another setup so it cant be that terrible but i still dont like ebay at the end of the day.

any posts of an EASY understanding of compressor maps would be lovely. i shall continue to read what i can google and make since of it.

 

Go to Garrett's web site where they explain it on THERE turbochargers. You have to understand this, a companies compressor maps apply to there product. So your no name turbo characteristics aren't the same as name brand turbocharger. It's like Payless shoes compared to foot locker shoes.
