turbo cam question
I just swapped out my old tired B18A in my DA for a low mileage JDM B18B. My friend now has a set of Stage 2 - Turbo/Super Charger Crower Cams he is willing to sell me for dirt cheap. I'm not turbo now but plan on going turbo in the future so I'm going to be buying them from him as soon as I get the money.
My question is, what will happen if I put these cams (I'll get springs and retainers also) in a otherwise internally stock B18B?? Only bolts ons I have are DC 4-2-1 header, AEM SRI, Greddy SP2 catback, and a stock TB bored to 62MM. Will I see a increase in power even though I'm still N/A??
I dont wanna go turbo until I have another car for a daily driver. So will putting these Crower stage 2 turbo cams in my N/A B18B be a good way to up the power until I can boost it?? What kinda gains do you think I would see??

I really would'nt put the turbo cams in your NA engine until you have your turbo set-up. The turbo cams have low overlap, and probably will not out perform your stock cams unless you tune it properly with cam gears and dyno. I would get your buddies cams and just start collecting parts for the turbo build.
