turbo b20 setup help please !!!

Default turbo b20 setup help please !!!

hey everyone im very new to hondas all my friends have em with their b 16s and their b 18s and my twin brother just swapped a GSR into his integra and now its my turn to enter the world of honda-tech sooo wuss up
i have been reading alot of threads and i think im interested in getting myself a b20 motor and putting it in a 1997 civic hatchback haha i think thats an EK. ! and during the winter i want to start gathering parts to turbo it. my goals are simple nothing crazy but i want a low 14 second car thats more reliable then fast. i want this thing to last but i dont want to spend a crazy amount of money. so please im welcoming input good or bad let me know what im getting myself into and how much i can be looking to spend on a B20 TURBO SET UP

If you're looking for a low 14 second car, do a B20/VTEC with bolt ons.

First of all....welcome to the the site. IMO i would do a LS motor. They can handle more abuse then the B20. If you already have the b20 Then make sure you get quality turbo parts and a Good Tuner!! Low 14's no problem. Oh yeah alot of people are going to tell you to SEARCH and their all right. Do alot of research youll learn the pros and cons on what ever you want to do with your car.

I run low 13's with my stock d16z6 on 9-10psi, so you should have no problem running low 14's with any b-series turbo car. I would expect 11's if I had a stock GSR, LS/Vtec, or B16 and it was turbo...
