Turbo b16 good setup?
Blox Manifold
presicion sc50
rc 440 injectors
Uberdata (local shop tune)
Downpipe/piping/hardware/oil (local shop)
johny race car Intercooler
hks bov
255 walbro Fuel pump
tail wastegate
sparko boost gauge (it works...)
What do you think about this setup? what about the turbo choice?
will a b&m fpr be efficient for this setup?
also what size wastegate should i get? im going to get a 7psi spring
Also im trying to keep my ac, you think it will fit with that big of a turbo?
going on 93 civic coupe w/b16a2
hoping for exleast 220whp
Already have:
Aebs intake manifold
Hondata gasket
bored 65mm tb
greddy evo2 exhaust

Re: Turbo b16 good setup? (Maverik4k)
you have to let us know the specs on the turbo that determines if its a good turbo for your setup and goals. the stock fpr will be fine for your setup. other than that all sounds good. you should hit 220whp easily.

No need for anything that big. Personally I'd look for a turbo that makes about 300 HP and will spool up faster, like a T3 or a small T3/T4. I mean if you are getting a SC50 for free then bolt it up and go, but bigger turbos are laggy, especially with a low torque engine like a B16. You should be able to get a downpipe to clear the A/C if you keep it down to 2.5".
I'd also get rid of that tail wastegate and get a tial, I hear the tail wastegates don't hold much pressure and tend to be noisy when they open up, I know mine is.
